Dr. Shaylice Meserole created Rapha Integrated Health to bring rigorous, Yale-informed psychiatry together with thoughtful, whole-person wellness. She is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and psychiatric nurse practitioner, twice graduated from Yale, with additional training in psychological counseling and human development. Honors such as the SAMHSA Minority Fellow Award and membership in Sigma Theta Tau reflect her commitment to evidence-based, ethical care. As a Black woman clinician, she understands how culture, identity, stress, hormones, and metabolism shape mental health. The name Rapha, meaning "to heal" or "to restore to health," reflects her mission to help clients find balance in mind, body, and spirit. She invites individuals to learn more about working with her.
What sets us apart is our commitment to integrative medicine—the thoughtful combination of conventional medical treatments with evidence-based complementary approaches. As Yale-trained practitioners, we bring both clinical rigor and a holistic perspective to every aspect of care, ensuring each person we work with receives comprehensive treatment that addresses mind, body, and spirit.
We recognize that mental health, hormonal balance, metabolic function, and overall wellness are deeply interconnected. Depression and anxiety can be influenced by hormonal imbalances, and weight and metabolic health affect mood and energy. Our integrated approach addresses these connections, providing comprehensive care that optimizes all aspects of health.
